bullet  Antique Iron Door Knobs, extraordinary pair

back one page
go to the beginning of category: Knobs - rim lock
Extraordinary, that`s the only word to describe this pair of antique (probably Victorian) cast iron door knobs. Some fairly minor pitting is the only `imperfection' apparently. We have used 2 hex head stainless steel screws to secure the movable knob to the spindle, not really `period` we agree, but, with the free Allen key provided it enables a good tight fit for the 2 opposing grub screws. If you think this sort of desecration is punishable only by a prolonged and painful death then we can supply conventional slotted head grub screws FOC. Suitable for door and lock combined thickness of 7.5 cm.
