bullet  Vintage Brass Padlock, view patent application

back one page
go to the beginning of category: Locks - padlocks
An interesting padlock employing something called trapped key safety interlock as far as we can determine. The key cannot be removed while the padlock is open. To see the full patent application goto and enter B430168 in to the search box and click search, there should be a single record 1. Improvements relating to padlocks. Click the link to read the application. It appears to be dated 1935 but the date format is a little strange. The company is still in business although it is unclear if this model of padlock is still being produced. In full working order with original key. Width open: 4 cm. All other dimensions with padlock closed.
