A vintage, reclaimed mortice lock suitable for rebated double doors. The lock has solid cast brass internals and is in excellent condition with some interesting surface character. The strike plate is original to the lock and has certainly seen some use, it's a little worn but intact and completely reusable. Suitable for doors with a rebate size of 12mm * 20mm. Supplied fully restored with new hand cut replacement key please see images for more details. The key back set and knob back set dimension are taken from the furthest face of the forend (the longest dimension of the lock) with the brass cover plate in place. When fitted this will be flush with the edge of the door. The height of the forend is 12.5 cm, the height of the strike plate is 11.5 cm.
